Administrative Experiences:

• Served as Treasurer for Teachers’ Association during 1993-1995
• Elected as EC member for Teachers’ Association during 1997-1999
• Served as Deputy Warden for hostel from June1996 to July 1999
• Served as Officer In charge of Academic Section from July 1999 to October 2002
• Worked as Joint Secretary for Teachers’ Association during 2001-2003
• Served as Project Engineer (Electrical) from October 2002 to April 2005
• Served as Secretary for Teachers’ Association during 2006-2009
• Served as Officer In charge of Hostels from May 2006 to January 2009
• Served as Director “Quality Power & Clean Energy Initiatives” from 11-6-2011 to 21-11-2011 

Industrial Experience:

• Did mini project on Stepper Motors during M.Tech course in Best & Crompton Ltd, Chennai from 29-04-1991  to 21-06-1991and developed typical control circuit for Stepper Motors using MOSFET’s which was very much useful for the authorities.
• Did M.Tech project for six months on “Estimation/ Reduction of Stray Losses in Power Transformers” in Research and Development wing of Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd, Bangalore from 10-10-1991 to 16-04-1992. The then unsolved problem of Reduction of Stray losses in Power Transformers was taken as challenge and suggested remedial methods for minimizing using MSC Maggie software package along with Finite Element Method. This assignment not only attracted rich appreciation from the topmost officials of the company but also offered job in the same organization. 

Prof. Sai Babu joined in JNTU Anantapur as Assistant Professor in 1992 and became Associate Professor in 2003. He was promoted as Professor in 2006.

He has contributed his services as Deputy Warden for Hostels, Office In charge of Academic Section, Project Engineer (Electrical) and Officer In charge of Hostels. He has also served as Treasurer, Joint Secretary and Secretary for Teachers Association.
