JNTU Kakinada evolved as a University after many transformations with its inception as an engineering college in the year 1946. Post independence has seen the emergence of this institution as a strong technological institution with its important contribution to the development of the nation. Alumni like Padmavibhushan Sridharan who is building metros in India, Prof Kulaindasway a noted academician who served as a Vice Chancellor for many Universities and Mr Mohan Reddy who founded InfoTech made this institution proud and great. JNTU Kakinada works with the philosophy of humanism, tolerance, reason, progress and for the adventure of ideas JNTU Kakinada has a vision to be a value driven global level University and a model of excellence leading in technical education. Conducting world class research leading to significant discovery and innovation and facilitating transformation of this eight district zone to be thewealthiest region in the country. We have made a strategic plan to achieve the goal of transformation of this region to that of the wealthiest region. As a consul-general you are interested in protecting the interests of US citizens temporarily or permanently resident in India and issuing visas to us. However, the principal role of yours lies traditionally in promoting trade-assisting companies to invest and to import and export goods and services both inwardly and outwardly. And although it is never admitted publicly, you also gather intelligence information. Dear Sir on behalf of our great University I request you help us by giving an edge over others in matters of concern to both the countries for the exchange of intellectual capital, thereby helping our mission of transforming this region as a wealthy region in the country if not the world.
