11. To obtain and maintain Student data base from Directorate of Admissions
12. To plan and coordinate the preparation of calendars and diaries
13. To coordinate and to nominate the members for Governing body, Academic Council and BoS to all affiliated and autonomous institutions
14. To prepare the Convocation report in consultation with DE and other Directorates / Units

1. To coordinate the process of grant of Temporary and Permanent Affiliations to the affiliated institutions
2. To issue the NoC to affiliated institutions for starting the new Courses
3. To issue the NoC for closure and merging of courses in affiliated institutions
4. To issue the NoC of merging of Institutions and renaming of institutions
5. To issue and Coordinate the collection of various fee & Maintaining the accounts related to affiliation fee, common services fee, and Inspection fee of affiliated and autonomous institutions
6. To conduct the Fact finding Committees to affiliated institutions by the faculty as per University norms and advise them for further development and also to attend the discrepancies found
7. To conduct the Academic Audit of Constituent units, Autonomous Institutions and affiliated institutions, in coordination with D-IQAC & CB
8. To Coordinate / Nominate experts for Selections of faculty in affiliated institutions as per University norm
9. To recommend to UGC for the grant of Autonomous status by UGC to affiliated institutions... NoC to be given by University
10. To issue the NoC for applying deemed Universities

Legal and Government matters

1. To List out all files related to legal matters as per the Government norms
2. To Coordinate the legal matters with Standing counsel, APSCHE, and Legal officer as per the directions of University authorities
3. To follow up all court cases as per the directions of University authorities
4. To be Custodian of all legal matter files
5. To coordinate the University related matters with APSCHE and Higher Education department of Government of Andhra Pradesh

Other Activities

1.  To obtain and maintain the list of all students admitted from affiliated, autonomous and constituent institutions from Directorate of admissions
2. To coordinate examination and evaluation process with different Regulations, Course structure, and Syllabi for UG, PG and Ph.D programmes
3. To conduct the examination and evaluation process, do Paper setting and maintaining question paper bank as per revised Blooms’ Taxonomy
4. To conduct the examinations with multiple question papers with validated normalization process (only if the examination center is with 1000 students or more)
5.  To maintain the timelines for the declaration of results declaration and other certificates to be issued by University and Autonomous Institutions
6. To modify / change the Encryption and Decryption software from time to time
7. To modify the Results processing software from time to time
8. To address the discrepancies related to issues of results
9. To regulate / Facilitate the evaluation process of all autonomous institutions as per the respective regulations and course structures with syllabi
10. To issue the certificates, viz., migration certificate, consolidated marks memo, Provisional certificate, Original degree as per University norms
11.  To permit the Autonomous Institutions to issue Provisional certificate (Format / Template is to be given by the University)  and consolidated marks memo only after verification of the data by the University.
12. To maintain the records (Results and marks) of all students from Autonomous institutions
13. To issue Original degree for all students of autonomous institutions only by the University.
14. To store the softcopy of all answer scripts in Cloud for transparency
15. To maintain all records of Directorate of Evaluation in Cloud
16. To upload the legacy data in National Academic Depository (NAD)
17. To maintain the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) of students obtained from various institutions / MooCs (or) other platforms
18. To list the Alumni students who have been given degree (UG, PG and Ph.D)
19. To coordinate with other Directorates and share the Alumni details, based on issue of original degree certificates, college wise, year-wise, etc.

1. To maintain good relations with Industries and key personnel of Confederation Indian Industries.
2. To organize the Invited lectures / conferences / workshops/ seminars in coordination with Industries and identify the various research problems in coordination with SRIIIC Directorate.
3. To identify and arrange to involve them in BoS and Academic senates etc.
4. To arrange the invited lectures of our faculty in various industries
5. To bridge the gap between industries and institutions by arranging the meetings between industry personnel and Institute – academicians
6. To arrange the placements from various Industries in coordination with D-Student affairs
7. To arrange the internships to our students of UG and PG programmes in coordination with D-Student Affairs

Alumni related Activities

1.  To collect the information related Alumni from the Directorate of Evaluation and maintain the soft copy of the same in the cloud.
2. To collect the earlier information related to Alumni (from the date of the formation of this University) either from DE office / concerned institutions and maintain the softcopy of the same in the cloud
3. To collect the information from University College of Engineering Kakinada and University College of Engineering Narasaraopet since its established dates, and maintain the record of the Alumni in softcopy of the same in the cloud
4. To establish the local chapters of Alumni at various places and activate them to organize various conferences /workshops / seminars etc.,
5. To involve them in various activities in the University campus and encourage them to help this University for fund raising, to establish new departments, to organize various activities, viz., academic development, placement activity, entrepreneurship development activity, new UG and PG programmes, and man power support, etc.
6. To plan for tracer studies of Alumni
7. To plan for the 80G (IT Act) for donations received

International Relations
